My last days in London were spent happily roaming open art studios

discovering new and interesting things like this skate park near Portobello Market in Notting Hill

and the head sculpture with graffiti under it

Saw a great exhibit of current student work at the Royal College of Art. RCA is a school I wanted to attend for years...going to visit was a bit sad for me...I don't regret much but this is one that I have...what could have been...but the great thing is it will be there...and someday when I get myself together I'll give it a go.

Shannon and I met up once more to see the "Turner and The Masters" exhibit at Tate Britain. I happened upon a wonderful collection of contemporary art upstairs...this painting stood out for me, inspiration for a perfect modern rug.
London and I never really say good-bye to one another...I have returned year after year...time and again. Through teary eyes in the early morning hours on Dec 7, I bid farewell to David and Yvonne...the end of hellos and more sad good-byes to come.
